Configuration for different router manufacturers

To configure a router, the computer used for configuration should get its IP address through DHCP. Most operating systems will configure themselves automatically. However, if you have changed this before, it's recommended to change the setting back to DHCP.

As the Netztutor*innen, we unfortunately can't provide a guide for every existing router. This has multiple reasons including missing documentation from the manufacturers or that we don't have the hardware to document the process ourselves.
