DNS
DNS or the Domain Name System translates easy to remember hostnames like google.com into IP addresses, like 142.250.186.78.
The HRZ provides DNS servers for the dormitories. It is possible to use a third party DNS server. Different DNS servers have differing pros and cons, aswell as different priorities.
