Domain Name System (DNS)
DNS, or the Domain Name System, translates easy-to-remember host names such as google.com into IP addresses such as 142.250.186.78.
The HRZ provides DNS servers for the accomodations. It is also possible to use third-party DNS servers. The various DNS servers have different priorities, advantages and disadvantages.
